NEW EXHIBITION AT THE SCIENCE MUSEUM

Last week Brian Eno launched a new exhibition at the Science Museum with a talk about the role of technology in music. The Telegraph newspaper have reproduced the talk, which you can read online now at their website

Oramics to Electronica runs until 1st December 2011 at London’s Science museum, with focus on the BBC Radiophonic Workshop and the work of Dorothy Oram.

“The story of Electronic Music, from the sound experiments of the 1950s through the digital revolution to today, is one of invention and innovation. Developed with a team of electronic musicians, our exhibition charts this history with examples of music making technology spanning more than 50 years.”
